Meeting minutes template that never leaves your browser
Minutes are due fast, and the notes are usually sensitive — names, decisions, who owns what. SlimDoc lets you capture structured minutes right in the browser, then export a print-perfect PDF. Build the template once with {{date}} and {{attendees}} placeholders and reuse it for every meeting. Nothing is uploaded, no account, and it works offline.
Why SlimDoc for meeting minutes
Structure first, fast
Headings for Agenda, Decisions, and Action items; bullet and numbered lists for the running notes. You type the way a meeting actually moves, and the page stays organized without fiddling.
Your notes stay on your machine
Minutes often hold names, numbers, and decisions you would never paste into a cloud editor. SlimDoc runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, and it works offline. The document never leaves your device.
One template, every meeting
Drop {{date}} and {{attendees}} placeholders into a reusable skeleton, add a header with your team or company name, and save it once. Open the same .html file next week and fill it in again.
What you can do
- H1–H4 headings plus bullet and numbered lists for agenda, decisions, and action items
- {{date}} and {{attendees}} placeholders for a fill-in-the-blanks template
- A repeating header with your team or company name on every page
- Page numbers (Page X of Y) in the header or footer
- One-click Print / Export to PDF via your browser's native print dialog
- Saves one self-contained .html file that re-opens straight back into the editor
How to make it
Lay out the sections
Add H2 headings for Attendees, Agenda, Discussion, Decisions, and Action items. Use bullets for notes and a numbered list for action items so owners and due dates line up.
Make it reusable
Type {{date}} and {{attendees}} where the specifics go, then add a header with your team or company name so it repeats on every page. Insert Page X of Y in the footer if minutes run long.
Fill in and export
Replace the placeholders with the meeting's details, switch to Preview to check the page, then Print / Export to PDF. Press Ctrl/Cmd+S to save the .html template for next time.
Frequently asked
Are my meeting minutes uploaded anywhere?
No. SlimDoc runs entirely in your browser. There is no account and no server — your minutes never leave your device, and the editor works offline. That matters for notes with names, figures, or internal decisions.
Can I reuse one template for every meeting?
Yes. Build the layout once with {{date}} and {{attendees}} placeholders, save it as a self-contained .html file, and re-open it before each meeting. The file opens straight back into the editor so you just fill in the blanks.
How do I get a PDF of the minutes to send around?
Use Print / Export to PDF. SlimDoc opens your browser's native print dialog and produces a faithful, paginated A4 PDF — headers, footers, and page numbers all resolved. No watermark.
Can I put the team or company name at the top of every page?
Yes. Add a header pinned to the page edge with your team or company name. It repeats on every page automatically, and you can add Page X of Y in the header or footer for longer minutes.
What format does it save in — can others open it?
It saves one self-contained .html file with all styling inlined. It opens and prints correctly in any browser, and re-opens into the SlimDoc editor. There is no proprietary format to lock you in.
Is it really free?
Yes — free, no sign-up, and no watermark on the exported PDF.
